COLLECTION 1 - BREAK up/out is my first release as CHASING TALES and includes three deeply personal songs that I wrote in 2018 after my relationship of 6 years failed. The end of that relationship also marked the beginning of me wanting to get out and play music again after years of not playing publicly (hence the /out).All the songs were recorded during 5 cold days in December 2018 and mixed in February 2019 at Off Ya Tree Studios in Hamburg, Germany with my great friend, engineer and producer Eric Timmann. What started as bare structures and acoustic arrangements ended up being three multi layered, intimate, fragile but strong songs that follow the same theme but still sound very different.
